About

VisActivities Platform

The VisActivities Platform is an open platform designed to help capture, characterize, and share visualization activities used as part of visualization teaching and workshops at large. Data visualization is becoming an important asset for a data-literate, informed, and critical society, and visualization activities play a vital role in teaching people how to think through data-related problems and how to use visualization tools in an informed way.

On the VisActivities Platform you can browse existing visualization activities that visualization practioners have designed and are using to teach data visualization. You will find guidance on how to conduct these activities and links additional instructions or examples. You can also upload your own visualization activities you are using yourself.

The Vis Activities Platform was funded by the Data-Driven innovation Initiative as part of their 2022/23 small grants funding call, helping to transform the City region into the data capital of Europe.
